Icons

iMapBuilder includes a default set of icons, acting as placemarks, which is suitable for transport or tourism maps. You can offere step-by-step walkthrough of locations by using numbered icons, or marking the nature of the place by using other icons in the set. You can even import your own icons to complement the default set.

Tooltips and Infoboxes

Each marker on the map can be associated by a tooltip or an information box. Tooltips are suitable for short messages like tips, and information box can be used for providing service details, timetables and any additional descriptions of the location. You can include images to show inside the box, so that any map users can see the actual photograph of the station or stop.

Mouse Actions to enhance Interactivity

The information box per station or stop can be customized with its mouse actions to enhance map interactivity. For example, mouseover actions can be used for tooltips to show station names, and clicking on the station point would come up with detailed service information in the box. You may also set hyperlinks to detailed pages if you have paragraphs of information to be given to customers.
